Designed by Philippe Starck, this is a 'castle in the sky'. Rooms are spread over the 17th-24th floors, while the rooftop is a magical spot to watch the sunset over the city. There are plenty of design details to admire.
Staff are cheerful and friendly. Facilities include a buzzing bar and restaurant, small gym (Starck-designed hand weights are also provided in the rooms) and spa. Guests can access newspapers and magazines courtesy of the free Press Reader app.

Dine on international cuisine at TOO Restaurant (25th floor), where reservations are recommended - it's often full. Head to TOO TacTac Skybar (27th floor) for cocktails and DJs or live music at weekends. We loved the perfectly cooked beef fillet with a spicy soy jus with a side of soy aubergine.
