MORE INFORMATION

Location

You're minutes away from some great local pubs, shops and cafés. The seafront is a five-minute stroll, while the Royal Pavilion and the Lanes are 15 minutes. The nearby Egg & Spoon café is great for coffee or lunch, and the Ginger Dog is a cracking gastropub.

A little off the beaten path, the hotel is on St George's Terrace - a quiet side street in Kemptown.

By car: over 2 hours from London and Oxford, and 3 hours from Bristol. Paid parking available nearby (permit from hotel).

By train: trains from London Victoria and London Bridge take around an hour. The station is a 10-minute taxi ride (or 20-minute walk). Book trains to Brighton.

Style

Hiding behind its double-fronted Victorian facade is a riot of colourful retro fun. The hotel boasts such knick knacks as reclaimed fairground signage, vast street art murals and funky vintage finds - an old Wrigley's Gum machine and a trio of flying ducks.

Service & Facilities

Snooze is run by two friends, Paul and Tony, who transformed an old-fashioned B&B into this retro haven back in 2006. The friendly and helpful on-site team are more than happy to offer recommendations on shops, bars and clubs. While there's no garden, there is a small balcony on the first floor.
