OUR REVIEW

Location

The resort is located in Porto Heli, on the northeastern Peloponnese Coast, known as the Greek Riviera. This former sleepy fishing village is sometimes referred to as the Hamptons of Greece, due to its history when shipping tycoons and foreign royalty installed huge hidden villas along its coast.

It's a three hour ferry from Athens or very pleasant - if very twisty at times - 175km drive.

By plane: London to Athens or Kalamata takes under 4 hours, after which, a taxi takes 2 hours 45 minutes. Free parking available. Book flights to Athens or Kalamata.

Style

Guests are young and glamorous. The décor is ultra-modern and the luxury beach club vibe starts as soon as you enter - with chilled music playing all day. The beach bar and restaurant are laid-back, while the rooftop is slightly more formal.

Service & Facilities

Facilities include the private beach, a pool (which is quite shallow), spa, gym and three eateries with bar areas. Service is generally good.

Restaurants & Bars

Menus are overseen by two-Michelin star chef Arnaud Bignon, so the food is fantastic - from sushi and Greek tapas in Beach Club, to the rooftop Qurio, perfect for a romantic dinner watching the sunset. The sea bass at the Beach Club was expertly grilled, accompanied by a generous Greek salad.

Café Nikki: daily buffet breakfast, 8-11am.

Qurio: rooftop restaurant, tapas and live music. Open daily, 7pm-12:30am.

Beach Club: Greek cuisine and cocktails. Open daily, 11am-7:30pm.
