MORE INFORMATION
Location
There's plenty to do right on your doorstep - saunter the elegant streets lined with art galleries, boutiques and upmarket restaurants. Stroll across Green Park to reach Buckingham Palace, or head to the independent shops and eateries of Shepherd Market. You're not too far from the West End either!
The hotel is superbly located in elegant Mayfair, steps away from leafy Green Park and the station.
By car: the hotel is 4 hours from Manchester and 2 hours 30 minutes from Bristol. Paid parking available nearby.
By train: Green Park tube station is a 3-minute walk away. London Marylebone is a 10-minute taxi ride. Book trains to London.
Style
The hotel's design is playful, and combines the theatrical, mischievous atmosphere of the times of Oscar Wilde, with motifs from Alice in Wonderland - think brightly-coloured butterflies in boxes, witty paintings depicting characters from Wilde's plays, and the hotel's fox mascot popping up here and there. The hotel may have 172 rooms, but the Dandy Bar was designed to feel snug and welcoming.
Service & Facilities
Staff are welcoming although at times service feels a little forced. The bar staff mix superb cocktails with unbridled skill. Facilities are limited - there's a small gym with Technogym equipment. The lower ground floor Club Room doubles as a co-working space and both The Den and Oscar's Study can be hired as meeting spaces (or private dining rooms).

Restaurants & Bars
The Dandy Bar is all about the drinks - the experienced mixologists shake up creative cocktails. We loved 'The Dandy' made with Johnnie Walker, Blood Orange Liquor, Apricot Eau de Vie, Barolo Chinato and Dark Cocoa Liquor. The prices are reasonable too, given the location. The bar also offers all-day dining.
The Dandy Bar: intimate bar and dining space. All-day menu, open daily. Mains from £18.
