Location
If you climb the steps behind the hotel and head west you can visit Père Lachaise, one of Paris' most famous cemeteries. Luminaries from Marcel Proust to Jim Morrison are laid to rest here.
In the 20th arrondissement on the north side of rue de Bagnolet, several Métro stations are 5-10 minutes' walk.
By plane: London or Manchester to Paris Charles de Gaulle takes 1 hour 15 minutes, after which, it's a 30-minute drive to the hotel. On-site parking costs €25 per day. Book flights to Paris.
By train: London to Paris Gare du Nord takes 2 hours 20 minutes, after which, it's a 20-minute drive to the hotel. Book trains to Paris.

A contemporary, seven-storey building with quirky interiors. Expect to find Mama Shelter's messages of welcome and love everywhere, from the walls to the mirrors and even the bars of soap! The hotel has a casual feel, with it's mismatch of colours, warm woods and soft lighting.
Service & Facilities
Staff are young and cheerful. You can buy essential items from reception and check-out isn't until 12pm. We loved that rooms have free movies!

Rooms range from small to XXL - the latter being an ideal choice for families. Regardless of size, all rooms have a queen size bed and compact shower room. Black or concrete walls contrast with the brightly coloured furniture.
