Location

Located in the delightful fishing village of St Mawes, the Idle Rocks occupies an exceptional position within the Roseland Peninsula, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The surrounding area provides ample opportunities for guests to engage in a variety of land or sea-based activities, such as cycling along the numerous trails or hiking the coastal path.

There are daily ferry trips to destinations such as Falmouth, Truro or St Anthony's Head.

By car: Just off the A3078, Idle Rocks is 40 minutes from St Austell, 1 hour 40 minutes from Plymouth and just under two hours from Exeter. There's free public parking nearby.

By train: Truro station is 45 minutes from the hotel (pick-up arranged with the hotel) and serviced by Great Western Railways trains from London and the Midlands. Book trains to Truro.
