Location

There's plenty of land to explore and activites to pursue on the estate. If you're looking to venture out, head to Galway city centre or the coast at Connemara.

Galway city centre is only 10 minutes by car - be sure to check out the traditional Irish pubs and art galleries in the Latin Quarter.

By plane: Birmingham and Edinburgh to Shannon takes 1 hour 15 minutes; London to Shannon takes 1 hour 30 minutes - after which, a taxi takes over an hour. Free on-site parking available. Book flights to Shannon.

Even from the exterior, this 18th-century building is impressive. The original wing contains period features such as silky patterned walls, grand decorative fireplaces, glitzy chandeliers and parquet flooring. The modern part features more contemporary furnishings, muted colours and clean lines.
