This is a great central location, down a narrow alleyway close to Calla Larga XXII Marzo.

It's about 80 metres to the Grand Canal 5 minutes on foot to St Mark's Square.

By plane: London to Venice takes 2 hours, after which, it's an hour to the hotel via airport boat or water taxi. Book flights to Venice.

The hotel is very traditional - from the furniture and artworks to the fact the room keys are hooked to bulky weights. It feels as though you're in a time warp of the 1960s, but it's charming and has a 'Room With a View' feel to it all.

Being a boutique hotel, there aren't too many facilities, but there's a breakfast room, inviting bar and a small lobby. Outside is a lovely leafy, tranquil courtyard garden.

The hotel only serves breakfast; a children's tea and drinks are available from the bar. There are plenty of bars and restaurants nearby.
