Location

Explore the Left Bank of the Seine and make the most of the tourist attractions, shops and restaurants in close proximity.

The hotel is in the 6th arrondissement between place Saint-Michel and rue Serpente, and close to Métro station Saint-Michel Notre-Dame.

By plane: London or Manchester to Paris Charles de Gaulle takes 1 hour 15 minutes, after which, it's an hour's drive to the hotel. Paid parking available nearby. Book flights to Paris.

By train: London to Paris Gare du Nord takes 2 hours 20 minutes, after which, it's a 20-minute drive to the hotel. Book trains to Paris.

Style

The hotel was originally built in the 1950s, starting out as a theatre school, and it retains features such as the original metal-framed windows today. French artist and designer Raphael Navot is the man behind the interiors and the cute terracotta table lamps are inspired by the chimneys of Paris.

Bedrooms

Rooms are compact but have inviting décor, with woods and bronze drapes creating warmth. Views are either of the courtyard garden or the neighbouring streets. However, you'll have plenty of amenities including a safe, fridge, tea and coffee facilities and a clothes steamer.

Restaurants & Bars

Although there's no bar to sit at, there's the restaurant, a leafy courtyard and rooftop terrace. The restaurant serves intriguing fusion dishes which it describes as 'contemporary Mexican with an Asian influence'. Try the Una Mas cocktail followed by the red tuna tostada with fried leeks and pork ribs seasoned with achiote.

The Restaurant: open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Sunday brunch, 12-3pm.

The Rooftop: panoramic views, cocktails and champagne. Open daily, May-Sep, 5-10:30pm.
