The hotel was originally built in the 1950s, starting out as a theatre school, and it retains features such as the original metal-framed windows today. French artist and designer Raphael Navot is the man behind the interiors and the cute terracotta table lamps are inspired by the chimneys of Paris.

Although there's no bar to sit at, there's the restaurant, a leafy courtyard and rooftop terrace. The restaurant serves intriguing fusion dishes which it describes as 'contemporary Mexican with an Asian influence'.
