MORE INFORMATION
Location
In Elounda, you'll find picturesque houses, hiking trails, crystal clear waters to swim in and historic monuments to explore. We recommend visiting the tranquil Cretan village of Plaka - with its taverners and cafés to tempt you.
The hotel is secluded in a romantic mountain façade in Elounda - traditionally a fishing village.
By plane: London or Manchester to Heraklion takes around 4 hours from London, after which, a taxi takes an hour. Free parking available. Book flights to Heraklion.
Style
In typical Cretan style, the hotel has whitewashed walls and overall, the décor is minimalist, with neutral tones and natural materials. The lobby area is light and breezy, with a marble desk, modern glass ceiling lights and a feature wall covered with traditional terracotta Minoan storage jars - setting the tone for the rest of the resort.
Service & Facilities
Staff are efficient and eager to please. There are two long infinity pools which offer oustanding views of Mirabello Bay - the same view can be seen from the rooms and most have their own pool and loungers, if you prefer more privacy. The funicular up the mountain transports guests between levels.
