Breakfast is served in the period dining room and is worth taking your time over. Fresh fruit and yoghurt, porridge or granola are followed by a choice of hot dishes, plus endless good coffee. We loved that breakfast is a serious affair, from the willow pattern china and cafetiere coffee to the freshly baked bread.
