Although the building dates back to 1870, the interior is modern and unique. From the eye-catching lobby shop to the first-floor bar and restaurant, there's an eclectic mix of styles. Corridors feature raspberry-coloured walls with grey doors, while guest rooms have a frenzied jumble of knick-knacks, colours and patterns.
Facilities include a shop at the lobby, selling various merchandise. Speak to the reception staff about bike hire and luggage storage. Check out the old school typewriters on the first floor - you can even write letters which the hotel will post for you.

NENI specialises in balagan cuisine (Hebrew for 'sympathetic chaos') with eastern Mediterranean sharing plates. Reservations are recommended as it gets busy. We loved the Moroccan harira soup followed by brochette de boeuf with freekeh. The restaurant also serves a buffet breakfast.
